Why Bell Tents?
Back in 2009, while traveling Europe, we first came accross these epic tents at a festival in the UK! Fast forward to 2015, while teaching outdoor education and having an affinity with the outdoors, it was time to tie the knot. The camping and glamping idea was presented and the rest is history.
We then decided to bring 25 tents and DIY the wedding completely. With the idea of selling them afterwards, to save some money. We tested the bell tent market on trademe, and recieve 89 bids on the simple originally designed sample. We knew it was a safe investment, but also thought perhaps there was something in this, as a business. There were two other providers, for a somewhat large (geographically speaking) country.
We honeymooned 3 months around our stunning country, in a banged up corolla, with a bell tent woodburner strapped to the roof, absolute bliss. the rest is history.
Having distributed over 2000 bell tents in NZ, and provided over 5,000 rental tents, we think we know a thing or two about the little beauties.
